Sarah Riley
Receptionist/Front Office
I moved from New Mexico to Bremerton in 1999 to begin a career in healthcare at Swedish. 22 years later, mostly at the Cancer institute, I retired from my position as a scheduler/patient advocate After speaking to Tanya and her crew at many a Manettefest, Tanya became my PCP and I witnessed first-hand the deep caring and commitment to community on which the Clinic is based. I look forward to getting to know my community and neighbors.
In my past lives, I have been an Early Childhood teacher, specializing in special needs, member of a High Angle Rescue Team and Canine Search and Rescue team.
My hobbies include trying new recipes from different cultures, gardening and knitting. I have a passion for Australian cattle dogs. I rescued Addy, my current ACD, 17 years ago. Not sure who rescued whom. Addy was born deaf so we learned American Sign Language together. She still provides a proper challenge and much needed distraction.
