Sarah Riley
Receptionist/Front Office
Sarah moved from New Mexico to Bremerton in 1999 to begin a career in healthcare at Swedish. Twenty-two years later, mainly at the Cancer Institute, she retired from her position as a scheduler/patient advocate. In her past lives, she has been an Early Childhood teacher specializing in special needs, a member of a High Angle Rescue Team, and a Canine Search and Rescue team.
Her hobbies include trying new recipes from different cultures, gardening, and knitting. She has a passion for Australian cattle dogs and rescued Addy, her current ACD, 17 years ago. But who rescued whom? Addy was born deaf, so they learned American Sign Language together. She still provides a good challenge and much-needed distraction for Sarah.
Sarah joined the Manette Clinic first as a patient, witnessing first-hand the clinic's deep caring and commitment to the community. Now she is one of the first faces your see in the front office, working as a part-time receptionist at the front desk.
